The Wealth AdvisoryAssociate is a key role, serving as an investment expert and advocate with the aim of expanding and deepening the relationship with WM clients and prospects. This role will act as an active business partner to this channel and proactively execute the overall investment strategy to position and promote our asset management capabilities.

This person will serve as a strategic business partner working in close collaboration with our internal partners and Wealth Advisory members to d eepen and enhance Northern Trust Asset Management (NTAM) & Flexshares brand awareness, thought leadership, research and development, core capabilities and fulfillment options across our Northern Trust Wealth Management business.

Duties:
  • Provide analytical and research support to the senior advisors within the practice.
  • Provide reporting for the group - Salesforce and Power BI client relationship management.
  • Conduct special projects for wealth management and ad hoc projects for the team and project lead.
  • Respond to client service questions/asks and/or special inquiries.
  • Serve as central point of contact for team helping coordinate and lead team-based initiatives.
  • Partner within the Wealth Advisory team (IAP) of NTAM for optimal top-down/bottom-up relationship.
  • Work closely with WM Partners and NTAM Constituents to identify and address strategic/scalable opportunities.

  • Excellent technical skills (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Morningstar/Bloomberg/Salesforce)

Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree: candidates for CFA, CIMA and/or attainment of the designations preferred.
  • 3+ years investment related experience within an analytical and relationship support context.
  • Requisite FINRA securities license(s) preferred.
