Our client, a leading city-based global asset manager, is seeking a Senior Derivatives Middle Office Oversight Analyst to join their newly formed global Derivatives Middle Office team in the London Office. As the Senior Derivatives Trade Operations Oversight Analyst, you will play a key role in overseeing the trade processing and onboarding of new derivative and complex instruments, investment vehicles, strategies, and clients.
Engaging with internal and external stakeholders, including the Trading Desk, client account managers, and service providers, your strong communication and interpersonal skills will be vital. You will serve as the escalation point for investment operations queries, resolving client & product matters related to Derivatives.
You will work closely with traders, providing direct trade support to the trading desk for Derivatives. This will involve overseeing trade operations and managing complex life cycle events handled by third-party providers. In addition to your trade operations responsibilities, you will facilitate the onboarding of new client accounts & new derivative instruments.
A project mindset is essential for this role, as you will drive process improvements, conduct testing, and implement new derivative products and strategies as part of the onboarding process. Furthermore, you will have a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in helping to set up this new function within the London office. Your contributions will be instrumental in establishing & improving operational processes.
