Job Summary
This position presents an exciting opportunity for a graduate to join a small investment team servicing a global client base. Price Value Partners was founded over 8 years ago and manages approximately £250m across a collective investment scheme and discrete managed accounts.
The candidate will be trained up to become a discretionary portfolio manager, with FCA approval, and be responsible for macroeconomic research and bottom up stock selection. The firm plans to remain small and flexible, therefore the role will also include taking responsibility for trading, administration (middle office) and client relationship management as well as the investment management duties.
Job Responsibilities
• Stock selection
• Dealing across multiple investment platforms
• Client presentations and pitches
• Macroeconomic analysis
• Drafting investment commentaries
• Client take on process incl. account opening at respective platforms
• Reconciliation of UCITS fund with administrator
Job Skills & Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree
• Experience working in financial services
• Strong leadership experience and skills
• Strong communication skills - both oral and written
Preferred
• Level 4 qualification
