Sales Director, Software Solutions (EDM and Portfolio Management)

Job Description

A well respected global financial services sales team which is seen as a financial standard in the industry is looking for a Sales senior with a regional APAC experience.

The team offer industry-leading software, data services and investment management platforms across the front-to-back office lifecycle for traded and illiquid markets. The platform that this sales senior will focus on include a number of buy side offerings including portfolio monitoring, order management, compliance, asset administration and reconciliation, valuations, document sharing, managed data services, data warehousing and reporting.

They are looking for an experienced sales specialist who is passionate about customer relationships and strategic selling. The role is focused on executing their sales strategy to accelerate the growth of their EDM customer base.

  • Develop and execute a sales plan selling capabilities across their product portfolio.
  • The product suite includes Enterprise Data and Portfolio Management software solutions.
  • Focus on new customer acquisition, as well as cross-selling within existing accounts.
  • Partner with the pre-sales engineering team to develop an understanding of the capabilities across the Solutions division.
  • Manage the sales process from lead qualification to proposal to contract stage.
  • Deliver and co-ordinate customer presentations and demonstrations alongside the pre-sales engineering team.
  • Attend industry conferences and forums that are relevant to clients and prospects.
  • Collaborate across our regional Solutions Sales teams.

Basic Requirements:
  • Proven track record of financial software sales success with a particular focus on new customer acquisition
  • 8-10 years of experience working in sales or business development role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an aptitude for consultative-selling techniques
  • Ability to manage complex sales and client negotiations
  • Strong time management and project management skills
  • Exceptional organization skills
  • CRM system (Salesforce) experience
  • Experience with data management software such as Informatica etc
  • Network of Investment Managers, buy side contacts
