Job Overview:
• Application owner engaging in building FX / Margin solutions including preferred knowledge in core banking solution (Avaloq). Need to drive implementation and support for
- Marginman (real-time margin trading)
- Microgen 5Series for Trust operations
- Avaloq (front-to-back core banking platform)
• Manage / lead complex program / project deliveries in FX and Margin solutions including working closely with vendors / partners and wealth management stake holders (IT and Business)
• Follow strict SDLC governance including meeting necessary quality gates, reporting to necessary internal governances supporting in identifying issues / risks and timely closing the same

Responsibilities:
• Managing an application / portfolio / project covering front to back departments, as well as multiple locations. Manage complex deliveries and development with multiple vendors
• Manage / lead SIT with vendors including unit testing and quality assurance. Provide necessary support to business during UAT, defect management / triage. Daily reporting and escalations when needed
• Participate in Release Management activities for Wealth Management systems.
• Provide proper handover and work closely with RTB members for system changes/releases. Provide/assist level 2 production support including various troubleshooting when required
• Work Closely with RTB members for the different job schedule and connectivity setup and coordination with different IT teams
• Able to break down complicated tasks for team members (work closely with IT CTB Outsourcing team in China, as well as external consultants)
• Follow Nomura and relevant regulators' standards and policies
• Conduct user training and briefing of Wealth Management systems

Requirements :
• Minimum 5 years of experience with a Bachelor's degree or Diploma from institutions recognised by Nomura. Preferred Business Information Science, Computer Science or Engineering disciplines
• Product knowledge: FX and FX Derivatives (Spot, Forward, NDF, Options - various derivative structures including complex ones, fixings, pricings, rollback/rollovers, etc)
• Experience in knowing Avaloq is an advantage
• Strong SQL: Oracle 11g, MSSQL
• Development: Excel macro and VBA, Python - are added advantage
• Aware of FIX, TCP/IP, MQSeries and / or other middleware
• Hands-on knowledge on basic Unix commands and scripting.
Preferred:
• Completed Avaloq Certification training (nice to have)
• Hands-on knowledge for AUTOSYS (job scheduler)
• ITIL v3 or similar qualifications
• Experience in Java EE 6, JBOSS Application Server and Java Application Framework (nice to have)
• Experience in XML/HTML5 (nice to have)
