About the Role

The position is primarily responsible for supporting the implementation of Chief Investment Officer's target operating model with a focus on investment-linked products, which includes (i) investment management, monitoring and reporting, and (ii) financial/actuarial analysis and (iii) investment analytics in supporting investment solution or strategy formulation.

  • Support and contribute towards the overall growth in the ILP funds business in AIA Singapore
  • Participate in the development and implementation of new ILP funds and enhancements of ILP funds which includes preparation of funds approval documents for regulatory filing, process related implementation
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to develop content on new fund ideas and updates on existing funds for distribution channels or client events
  • Act as the subject matter expert and administrator of ILP funds business through the management of (end to end) fund specific activities
  • Lead the implementation of investment analytics/monitoring and reporting system in AIA Singapore.
  • Provide investment analysis support to the assigned tasks for specific issues, investment performances and financial impacts. This includes research, data analysis, processing, and calculation.
  • Produce reports for management reporting to Investment Committee meetings, EXCO, RCE meetings and various internal and external reporting.
  • Liaise with Investments' specialist teams and clients to ensure that any changes to investment managers are managed effectively
  • Perform process analysis and provide proposals using TDA capability to automate and optimize Investment process
  • Ensure timely reporting to key stakeholders and escalate any issues to compliance, senior management, and relevant functions
