About Aladdin Wealth Tech:

Aladdin Wealth Tech is a fast-growing fintech business operating within BlackRock Solutions. Our mission is to leverage the power of Aladdin's analytics, technology, and data to give wealth management firms the edge they need to grow their private client businesses. Through our proprietary platform, we equip wealth management businesses with advisor tools, risk monitoring capabilities, portfolio construction & management tools, and business insights. The team operates as one cohesive global unit spanning client, product, and engineering, and we pride ourselves on getting things done while delivering new business value quickly and frequently. We are passionate about finding new ways to solve important problems in our industry using technology and data.

Your Role and Impact:

As an Aladdin Wealth Product Manager leading our API and Integrations offering, you will help define, manage, and execute on the Aladdin Wealth API & Integrations roadmap with a mission to facilitate seamless integration points between the Aladdin Wealth platform and our Clients' applications. Aladdin Wealth offers a broad suite of easy-to-use flexible APIs built for scale plus many other integration patterns, and we have ambitions to expand our API & Integrations suite to offer even deeper integrations with our Clients and through third-party partnerships for a varied set of use cases. Often times Aladdin Wealth sits alongside a wealth manager's core banking and other internal systems, our client-facing external APIs complement our front-end applications and allow clients to derive maximal value from Aladdin Wealth by leveraging the same data and analytics in their workflows outside of Aladdin Wealth. We believe APIs and Integration capabilities are a full-fledged Product offering which needs to be managed and built thoughtfully and holistically just like our front-end applications.

You're accountable for defining API & Integrations product strategy, authoring the roadmap, and executing across the entire product lifecycle. You're also accountable for supporting clients directly in their implementation of our integrations capabilities, delivering a great experience for developers at our clients and prospects. You'll be tasked with initiating, evaluating, and implementing third-party partnership integrations. We expect our PMs to be strongly commercially-minded, proposing new features, validating them in the market, and owning commercial outcomes. You'll work closely with engineering and business partners to innovate, conceptualize, design and pilot new capabilities to simplify our clients' business problems and enable them to impact their commercial goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Management: A passion for and hands-on experience defining and managing APIs and/or Integrations as a Product, identifying and prioritizing development to improve capabilities, and executing across the full product lifecycle, from ideation to development, testing, go-to-market, and documentation on developer portal.
Wealth Management: Fluency in the wealth management ecosystem to understand our clients and how our API integrations add value to our partners and clients in the ecosystem
Client Engagement and Onboarding: As the PM focused on APIs and Integrations, you should love engaging directly with Clients, from working with highly technical partners on initial integration setups to presenting integration plans and workflows to project leads. Spending so much time with clients will put you in a great position to evolve the Product to better serve current and future Clients
Storytelling and Documentation: Author, tell, and evangelize the story of the APIs and Integrations as a Product within Aladdin Wealth. Own first-rate technical documentation and client-facing integration plans that bring Aladdin Wealth's Integration and API story to life.
Roll-up-your sleeves execution: You are the driver of execution, hands-on working with engineers to bring your vision to life. Run point on day-to-day operational issues and leverage subject matter expertise to resolve them as quickly as possible.
Technical Partnership: Partner with engineers throughout the development process from idea conception to product launch
1Aladdin & BlackRock engagement: Establish a clear and shared vision for your area of ownership with consensus and excitement across the firm

Desired Qualifications:

5+ years of product management experience, ideally in wealth management or asset management, closely dealing with APIs as product
