What will you be doing?

• Advise clients in the Consumer Retail space on banking activities, including evaluation and execution of key strategic decisions.
• Manage staffing and resource allocation, performance reviews, and day-to-day responsibilities of junior bankers.
• Manage financial and strategic diligence in merger, acquisition, divestiture, capital raise or restructuring transactions.
• Oversee detailed financial analysis, including merger modeling, discounted cash flow analysis, comparable company analysis, leveraged buyouts and debt pay down analysis.
• Oversee preparation of marketing materials (memorandums, management and investor presentations, board materials, fairness opinions, rating agency materials and proposals to existing / prospective clients).
• Run day-to-day execution on transactions, including financings, acquisitions and company sales.
• Develop existing network of relationships with strategic and sponsor clients and support business planning, including tracking new business opportunities and sourcing new transactions and client relationships.

What we're looking for:

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or closely related field and five (5) years of post-baccalaureate progressive experience as an Investment Banking Analyst/Associate or related position. Demonstrated experience must include: Analyzing industry and sector trends within the Consumer Retail ecosystem, as well as macroeconomic events, and corporate, strategic and financial developments and making recommendations to clients; Managing execution of Consumer Retail transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and restructurings Utilizing M&A, credit analysis and capital markets knowledge to provide advisory services to clients and internal teams; Analyzing the performance of Consumer Retail companies, financial statements and business drivers to construct related financial, valuation and operating models; Develop client content, including valuation analyses, fairness opinions, evaluations of acquisitions, divestitures, and capital raises, offering memorandums, board materials, investor presentations, and rating agency presentations; Facilitating transactions and underwriting of securities, including determining the price and size of securities and providing financial models to potential investors and credit agencies; and Utilizing Factset, Bamsec, Merger Market and Pitchbook platforms for financial modeling, valuation and presentation materials, analysis of market data, stock price performance, company financials and research estimates, company ownership and shareholder structure, industry and M&A screening.

You will be working at our New York, New York location at 745 Seventh Avenue. This 37-story office tower is located in Times Square in the heart of Manhattan and features a cafeteria, fitness center and state-of-the-art LED signage on the façade of the building. Salary/Rate Minimum/yr: $275,000
Salary/Rate Maximum/yr: $275,000

The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above include only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any other type of compensation or benefits that may be available.
