Reporting to the Head of Corporate Finance, the Real Estate Finance Analyst will work closely with the wider Corporate & Capital Solutions team to provide complex financial analysis, building and running financial management and reporting models and participating in business planning and stakeholder reporting across all facets of the phased placemaking project.
Perform comprehensive feasibility and market analysis to support the project business plan and other special projects
Conduct asset class performance analysis and optimization
Build and manage complex financial models
Ensure that values and assumptions are agreed, owned and supported by valid documents/assumptions
Assist in the evaluation, structuring and management of debt financing
Assist with management of the monthly project finance drawdown process
Contribute to the production of periodic reports, memoranda and presentations for shareholders, lenders and other key stakeholders
Provide general finance and property analysis as required by the business.
Skills and Qualifications
Degree qualified with strong academic background
c.3 years of relevant work experience in real estate investment or finance sector, ideally with a large, mixed-use developer or fund
Excellent financial modelling and analysis skills in Excel (managing existing cashflows and building models from scratch)
Working knowledge of VBA is desirable
Must have an understanding of commercial /technical aspects of project finance
Exposure to large scale commercial and resi development projects is desirable
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Strong attention to detail with excellent writing skill
Confident and tenacious
Excellent spoken and written English
Able to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
