We are partnering with a leading sustainably-focused alternatives asset manager that is looking to add a Portfolio Manager to its London or Nottingham office. Investment strategies are designed to create a resilient and decarbonised world and power the future economy. This role will act as a business partner to deal executives, middle office functions alongside investor relations but will primarily focus on portfolio management and data insights. What the job involves
- Liaise with portfolio company finance teams and deal executives to collect financial and KPI data
- Maintain and manage the portfolio monitoring system
- Ensure deal-related data is accurate and up to date
- Provide financial analysis and support on value-enhancement projects
- Review and analyse the content of portfolio reports of each investee company
- Assist in fundraising data collation and validation
- Prepare investment valuations
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified would be advantageous
- Experience in analysis of financial data
- Strong Excel skills, financial modelling experience an advantage
- Passionate about high quality communications, in particular writing for institutional/retail investor audiences
- Proactive approach and a strong work ethic
- Experience in private equity audit, transaction services, due diligence or corporate finance support
- Ability to multi-task and manage changing priorities and tight deadlines
