Job Duties: Vice President with Goldman Sachs Bank USA in New York, New York. Develop, implement, and maintain credit underwriting strategy for digital lending. Analyze data including traditional and alternative bureau, behavioral and macroeconomic data and use statistical tools and analytical techniques to generate insights and optimize credit decisions including accepting and declining pricing and credit line. Build and optimize existing customer management strategies to improve customer level profitability. Partner with Marketing, Finance and Operations teams to ensure appropriate execution of credit policy requirements. Analyze and evaluate potential vendor and data providers for incremental value in credit management strategies in a continuous improvement environment. Keep up to date on applicable regulations and compliance requirements with possible interactions with internal and external regulators. Develop analytical reports and presentations for senior management, executive committees, and regulatory exams.

Job Requirements: Master's degree or Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, or a related field. Three (3) years of experience with a Master's degree or five (5) years of experience with a Bachelor's degree in the job offered or in a related role. Three (3) years of prior experience with a Master's degree or five (5) years of prior experience with a Bachelor's degree must include: working with large datasets and big data including trade line, time-series, and transaction data; working with U.S. retail (consumer or small business) lending business models in terms of revenue source, pricing, and credit risk management; managing several projects simultaneously and driving end-to-end project delivery; developing policy and procedures documentation for credit risk strategy execution; utilizing knowledge of U.S. credit bureau data, risk scorecards, and ability to pay quantification to develop credit policy; building, improving, or analyzing risk management in a digital consumer or small business lending or similar data driven industries like insurance; using advanced Microsoft Office skills, specifically Excel (including creation of pivot tables, logic functions, data tables and regression analysis), PowerPoint and Word; developing comprehensive risk management reports using SQL or a similar database query language for extracting data from large datasets; developing and automating quality control process to ensure intended execution of credit strategies; utilizing advanced analytical packages such as SAS, R, Python and SQL to analyze data, identify insights and make recommendations; and visualizing complex data analyses and communicating to a wide variety of audiences, including senior leadership.

Salary Range: The expected annual base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $165,000 - $300,000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
