About the Role
To ensure the preparation of management reports, analytical review and annual budget exercise are processed in a timely controlled manner to support management on business result and KPI analysis and monitoring.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Produce management reports to ensure business performances are analysed and presented to Management/Group office to facilitate business decision making on a timely basis.
- Assist in the financial budget report preparation in the strategy planning process, and coordinate with Group Office, local business functions and cross-finance teams. Ensure budget is in line with business initiatives and strategic planning
- Participate in the Management Information System (MIS) enhance project, provide user requirements, and conduct user acceptance testings.
- Review existing management reporting processes and reports, provide recommendation on how to improve efficiency and data quality via automation.
- Support Senior Manager and Associate Director on strategy and business review related topics including ad hoc analysis or reports to senior management.
- University graduate and a member of recognized professional accounting body plus 4 years relevant experience.
- Hands on experience in business intelligence and data management tools such as Power BI, QlikView, Tableau.
- Experience in Insurance or Financial Services Industry is preferred.
- Experience in finance transformation / MIS project is a plus.
- Possess strong communication skills with confidence to liaise with all levels including top management and across different functions
- Problem solving and analytical skills
- You are required to obtain the relevant license(s) if your job involves regulated activities
