Our client is a well established family office with a proven track record in commercial value-add investments. With the growth of the organization, our client is looking for an outstanding individual to join them due to expansion.
Responsible for investment research and monitoring activities on US stocks. This includes: a) conduct fundamental and industry analysis on stocks, b) develop investment thesis and write investment memos, c) monitor investments including external fund managers, d) develop, maintain, and update investment databases and reports, e) work closely with CIO and other coworkers on investment selection. In addition, the analyst is expected to assist/ lead other activities as it arises.
To be qualified, you should be a Degree holder with a minimum of 2 years of experience in an analytical role in hedge funds, mutual funds, private equity funds, banking, auditing, management consulting or other related fields. Experienced in advanced modeling in Excel; knowledge of VBA and stochastic modeling a plus. Experienced in financial statement analysis and various valuation methodologies. Familiar with global healthcare and semi-conductor industries a plus. Proficient in Bloomberg. Awareness of macro events. Good PowerPoint skills. Understand relationship database architecture; knowledge in SQL language a plus.
