VP Trade Origination

As a Barclays VP TWC Origination, you will partner with the Global Relationship Director (GRD) managing Multinational Clients, meeting their global TWC requirements. You will assist the TWC Originators to originate, structure, execute, and advise on Trade Finance and Supply Chain solutions. Lastly, help the TWC plan by meeting the needs of existing clients, protecting income lines from potential competitor threat and through the acquisition of new business in the TWC arena.

Salary/ Rate Minimum: $145,000
Salary/ Rate Maximum: $215,000

What will you be doing?

• Delivering working capital revenue and build new and enhance existing customer relationships within your allocated coverage sectors
• Building and maintaining strong customer relationships with valuable key client contacts through effective client planning
• Partnering with Coverage, Product, Legal and Operations to originate and execute transactions and facilities
• Working closely with counterparts in other Barclays locations to originate and execute multi-jurisdictional transactions
• Identifying and driving business opportunities with new and existing clients across all key client sectors
• Coordinating across the global Trade & Working Capital business to leverage our entire platform for the benefit of clients
• Monitoring nominated customers/trade facilities for risk, returns, utilisation, and trends that may impact our business

What we're looking for:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business
• Solid written, oral communication and reasoning skills
• Previous Trade and Working Capital origination experience, and thorough and in-depth understanding of the Trade and Working Capital product set
• Excellent research and analytical skills

S kills that will help you in the role:

• Commercial Effectiveness: Including Client /Customer Focus and Commerciality
• Working understanding and prior experience with financial modelling, credit, and financial analysis
• Experience and understanding working with FIG/Insurance sector clients highly preferred

Where will you be working?

You will be working at our Americas Headquarters at 745 Seventh Avenue. This 32-story office tower is located in Times Square in the heart of Manhattan and features a cafeteria, fitness center and state-of-the-art LED signage on the facade of the building.
