As a Barclays Onboarding Relationship Manager, you will join our team where you will have the opportunity to provide day-to-day services for internal and external stakeholders, providing a 'white glove service' to facilitate onboarding requests for new Markets entities and new products as principal. You will ensure requests are fully completed in our onboarding systems and are ready to trade. Your team supports investment banking desks based in Americas, Europe and Asia Pacific.

We are currently in the early stages of implementing a hybrid working environment, which means that many colleagues spend part of their working hours at home and part in the office, depending on the nature of the role they are in. Depending on your team, typically this means that colleagues spend a minimum of between 20% to 60% of their time in the office, which could be over a week, a month, or a quarter. However, some colleagues may choose to spend more time in the office over a typical period than their role type requires. We also have a flexible working process where, subject to business needs, all colleagues globally can request work patterns to reflect their personal circumstances. What will you be doing?

• Acting as a contact for client onboarding
• Managing various processes during the end to end (E2E) Onboarding process, including request initiation, managing regulatory requirements, and performing control functions
• Ensuring prioritized cases are chaperoned through the E2E to minimize cycle times
• Utilizing internal systems for workflow management and data storage
• Responding to queries regarding the status of specific requests
• Building working relationships and liaise with internal and external dependents including Clients, Sales, Trading, KYC, Credit, Legal and Operations
• Reviewing control reports, and investigating and resolving breaks
• Performing quality checking on a sample of requests processed

What we're looking for:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in the Onboarding, KYC, Regulatory area
• Work or internship experience in Financial Services or client facing/client service
• Fluent understanding and use of Spanish language to support our Latin American desk

• Energetic with a "Can Do" attitude who is self-motivated and highly driven
• Ability to multi-task and manage heavy volumes of work and prioritize accordingly
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, Microsoft Office Skills (Outlook, Excel)
• Ability to work as part of a team
