Excellent opportunity for bilingual (French & English) Relationship Manager or Junior Relationship Manager to join top rated Private Bank in Front Office capacity with close intercation with extremely wealthy end clients.
Business development and relationship management
• Understands stakeholders key relationship to insure to cover them up during their absence (business trips, holidays.).
• Maintains and grows a profitable book of business through disciplined and proactive business development and relationship management.
• Develops an in-depth knowledge of products and services. Analyses the needs of clients in order to effectively recommend appropriate products or services.
• Payments queries from our clients (receipt of funds, executed payments, bank statements, audit trail).
• Collation of KYC documentation for existing and new clients, liaising both externally and internally to meet all requirements.
• Managing LC financing maturities - Ensuring timely reminder and chasing for payments.
• Managing payment of associated LC interest and charges.
• Translation of documents if required.
• Ensures that all transactions are recorded in the system completely as well as syndication if it is involved.
• Takes ownership for client relationship with the bank under supervision of the existing RMs.
• Prioritises relationships effectively ,and has an appropriate relationship management plan for each customer.
• Takes a consultative approach to understanding our client's objectives, effectively identifies their financial needs, implements appropriate financial solutions, and undertakes ongoing review and assessment to ensure plan execution.
• Effectively collaborates with client service team, product team and senior management to ensure an excellent client experience.
• Anticipates client needs.
• Maintains a working knowledge of bank operating policies and procedures which impact commercial relationships.
• Understands and applies fist line of defence.
Portfolio management
• Accountable for overall portfolio management, compliance and risk.
• Monitors direct and operating exposures of portfolio to ensure actual performance is consistent with approved limits -and consistent with the understanding.
• Initiates timely changes to risk ratings to reflect changes in conditions that impact our customers and the risk exposure, including regulatory compliance.
• Completes accurate and timely credit actions, including periodic reviews, renewals and modifications.
• Works in close partnership with credit administration.
