We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Senior Insurance Support Officer.

Principal Responsibilities
  • Assist Insurance Sales Manager on sales support, e.g. quotation preparation, quotation follow up, renewals, negotiation with HSBC (Insurance) on quotation terms and conditions, claims handling
  • Act as contact point during the absence of Insurance Sales Manager to ensure all customer enquiries are dealt with
  • Solve various problems in handling frontline enquiries, finding the right solutions and replying or referring to the right parties
  • Promptly handle ad-hoc customer enquiries and come up the best solutions for customers
  • Back up support for Insurance Sales Manager on sales related matters and customer servicing
  • Share the responsibility of and contribute to meeting the business targets of the portfolio
  • Proactively identify and close sales opportunities through their own contacts with customers
  • Provide back office administration and clerical duties
  • Follow up with Insurance Sales Managers to consolidate data and handle weekly sales tracking report
Requirements

Requirements
  • Working experience in customer service will be an advantage
  • Passed Insurance Intermediaries Qualification Exam (paper 1, 2, and 3)or possess equivalent insurance qualifications before on boarding will be an advantage
  • Good understanding of insurance products, sales procedure and knowledge regarding operation procedures of the Bank
  • Strong interpersonal and good communication skills
  • Problem solving skills in handling customer enquiries and answering referrals
  • Good command of English, both written and oral
  • Proficient in Words, Excel, PowerPoint will be an advantage
