Global Asset Management, the investment management business of the HSBC Group, serves HSBC's worldwide customer base of retail and private clients, intermediaries, corporates and institutions invested in both segregated accounts and pooled funds. Global Asset Management fulfills its purpose of connecting HSBC's clients with investment opportunities around the world through an international network of offices in approximately 30 countries, delivering global capabilities with local market insight.

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Senior Manager, Private Bank Distribution.

Principal Responsibilities

• The role will form an integral part of the Wholesale Client coverage proposition
• Primarily this role holder will look at managing and our internal and external private bank distributors, as well as developing new private bank relationships
• Meet assigned sales and revenue goals or initiatives
• Conduct product and education training to distributors and clients
• Provide excellent pre- and after sales service
• Handle enquiries from distributors with professional manner
• Work with Marketing Team, Product Team and Investment Team to prepare product briefing deck for new product pitch or client presentation
• Work with Product Team and Investment Team to generate new product ideas and ensure the successful launch of new offerings
• Provide effective communications to the clients of changes within the company

Requirements

• University Degree educated in Finance or related discipline
• Substantial years of experience in investment fund sales role within asset management business / financial institutions. Experienced in managing relationship with private banks in HK is preferred
• Highly motivated and Sales-oriented
• Excellent understanding of investment market, products, capabilities, and operation
• Excellent people and communication skills, both spoken and written
• Team player who can develop relationships at multiple levels
• Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes
• Strong attention to detail and deadlines
• Proficient in both verbal and written English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin)
