Our Fixed Income platform is looking for an FX Trader. In this exciting and dynamic role, we'll trust you with day-to-day FX management including trade execution/optimization, exposure monitoring, and providing hedging strategy recommendations.

We'll trust you to:
  • Execute/negotiate foreign exchange (spots, forwards, options) related to a variety of products (both developed and emerging markets)
  • Analyze and track FX trends and market movements for investment idea generation
  • Assist team members with performance attribution, portfolio calibration, and implementation
  • Liaise with internal contacts, such as marketing, accounting, and settlements, as well as external contacts
  • You'll need to have:
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant foreign exchange experience (in trading and investments)
  • Ability to identify and interpret relevant market moving information in a time sensitive manner
  • Knowledge of Bloomberg, electronic FX execution platforms, and related order management systems (Charles River a plus)
  • Ability to move quickly by being thoughtful and thorough
  • Excellent communication and organization abilities
  • MBA or CFA Charter preferred

    We expect the base salary range for this role to be approximately 125,000-150,000 USD. Various factors contribute to determining the actual base compensation offered, including but not limited to the applicant's years of relevant experience, career tenure, qualifications, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, relevant skills for the role. Base salary is one component of Lazard Asset Management's compensation package, which also includes comprehensive benefits and may include incentive compensation.
