Our Private Client Group is responsible for providing investment capabilities to high-net worth clients and family offices around the globe. We are looking for an entrepreneurial minded individual to cultivate new business opportunities and maintain existing client relationships

We'll trust you to:
  • Identify, manage and coordinate client acquisition and key relationship expansion efforts
  • Identify prospects and cross-selling opportunities by utilizing market intelligence and competitive analysis resources
  • Maintain and leverage network of estate planning attorneys, accountants, and other professional advisors to receive qualified referrals
  • Manage and implement investment objectives for an assigned book of high-net worth client account relationships
  • Understand the client's investment goals and objectives and develop a diversified investment plan and strategy to meet goals.
  • Advise clients with complex investment relationships on asset allocation and portfolio construction for strategic and tactical decisions.
  • Work in close partnership with clients' tax and legal counsel, and assist clients in finding appropriate advisors where required
  • Continue to stay up to date and engaged with Lazard's product and service offerings
  • Contribute to the overall sales process by identifying opportunities to promote Lazard's products
  • You'll need to have:
  • 7 or more years of experience in investment management
  • 7 or more years in a Relationship Management/Business Development role with Private Clients
  • An active Series 7
  • Keen understanding of sales and marketing process
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative reasoning ability, with the capacity to understand inner workings of investment strategies and represent them in appropriate detail to an audience
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to build a significant level of trust with clients
  • Enthusiasm to partner with professional advisors (such as CPAs or T&E attorneys)
  • Excellent writing/editing skills
  • Strong verbal communications skills and comfort engaging all levels of firm management
  • Self-confidence and a proven ability to work well with highly capable and successful individuals
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Works effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Highly detail oriented
  • Individual with high ethical standards, never sacrifices integrity and works in each client's best interest
  • CFA designation preferred

    We expect the base salary range for this role to be approximately 170-200K USD. Various factors contribute to determining the actual base compensation offered, including but not limited to the applicant's years of relevant experience, career tenure, qualifications, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, relevant skills for the role. Base salary is one component of Lazard Asset Management's compensation package, which also includes comprehensive benefits and may include incentive compensation.
