Finance Project Manager, Global Insurance Firm

My client is a leading Life Insurance business with headquarter in HK. They are looking for a Project Manager to handle finance projects & various finance application support.

Resopnsibilities

• Drive the various components of the GFAS transformation program internally within the workstream and across different departments, such as Finance, Actuarial and Group IT .
• Project manage key initiatives from the Group Finance Transformation portfolio of programs and projects in the following areas: risk & regulatory, business change, business transformation
• Oversee compliance of project deliverables across Group Finance program/project portfolios for audit and regulatory purposes
• Lead on-going system enhancements and system upgrades by managing Group Finance Application Support/ external vendors to conduct system development, and UAT coordination
• Align Governance & Controls for Group Finance Applications with Group standards and audit requirements and ensure Group Finance Applications related risks are relevantly identified and adequately mitigated

Requirements

• 8-10 years' work experience with solid project management background and proven track record of sizable project delivery in FS sector
• Experience in driving finance projects
• Strong understanding of governance and process controls to align with audit requirements and standards
• Ability and flexibility in undertaking multiple project/program roles, leading various teams (internal resource and external vendors) but also work independently
• Good communication skills including strong written and spoken English
