Architas, Asset Manager, Affiliated to AXA Investment Managers, is looking for a Junior Portfolio Manager to join the teams in Brussels.

As a member of the investment team, the Junior Portfolio Manager is in constant contact with customers, business contributors and both internal and external partners to the group (fund promoters, Architas, AXA IM, AXA Bank, AXA Belgium). The role holder is responsible for implementing the strategy set out in strict compliance with the procedures and regulations set by the financial authorities. The role holder has a key role in representing the company both internally and externally. His speaker capabilities will contribute to business activity.

Portfolio management:
  • Participation in Investment Committees:
  • Prepare the slides deck
  • Attend call / on-site Meeting
  • minutes write-up
  • Ad-hoc analysis and simulation
  • Manage Clients portfolios according to strategy
  • Ensure the alignment with legal restrictions
  • Institutional Clients: Organize quarterly calls

Fund management assistance

Challenge the sub delegation of our fund selection
Communication

Assist in the production and collation of investment materials used in various client and internal governance meetings
Represent the investment on various platforms with both internal and external stakeholders.

Your Profile:

We are looking for you to be client focused, proactive and results oriented, with a willingness to improve processes and to propose innovations, capacity to share information and best practices.

• Graduate and/or finance related professional qualification; first experience is a plus
• Qualifications: Working toward a professional qualification is desired
• Good experience of quantitative techniques. Advanced financial mathematics, asset modeling and stochastic techniques are a plus
• Some experience working in an Investment or Financial services environment. Knowledge of mutual funds industry is a plus
• Competent in the use of Microsoft office, especially Excel and PowerPoint. Knowledge of VBA. Experience on Bloomberg is a plus
• Be organized, rigorous and able to prioritize tasks
• Have the flexibility to adapt to dynamic projects in a multi-cultural environment
• Strong communication skills (both oral and writing) are also needed as well as the ability to think creatively, to express thoughts clearly, and to work effectively with others
• Fluent in French and a good knowledge of Dutch and English
