Eligibility
Our next internship program runs through the summer of 2023. We're looking for students who are working towards a Bachelor's or Master's degree (or equivalent), and due to complete their studies to be available for a full time role commencing in 2024.

As an intern with S&P Global Ratings, you will undertake work on a real business project intended to add value to your team as well as provide you with a great learning opportunity.

Software Engineers design, develop, validate, and bring new products to market. As part of an agile team, you will envision, groom, and commit to building new features or enhancing current functionality in sprint cadence. You will add to our test suites and demonstrate completed stories to our stakeholders and clients. You will look for ways to innovate and enhance our products and processes.

You will have the opportunity to experience a high-level of collaboration and cross-training on a wide range of applications. We offer a tight-knit development team that is accustomed to helping one another learn and excel while making large contributions to the Markit Digital back-end infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities Include:
- Develop frontend application using HTML, JavaScript and CSS.
- Write Core APIs using node.js, React and JavaScript
- Writing unit tests to support code developed
- Collaborating with teammates during technical designs
- Deploy completed work to our QA and production environments following our release standards

The Summer Internship Program will provide you with a variety of experiences to help you identify your strengths, develop highly transferable skills and align you to a successful career path for a bright future at SP Ratings. To be an ideal fit for the role, you should have:
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree
- Strong web development skill set, such as React, HTML, JavaScript and Web.
- Familiarity with NPM and node.js
- Excellent communication skills
- Be legally eligible to work for the duration of the program in the country for which you apply

Compensation/Benefits Information (US Applicants Only):
S&P Global states that the anticipated base hourly rate for this position is $30 an hour.
