We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Senior Specialist, Cash Management .

Principal Responsibilities
  • Analyse accounts and prepare reconciliation reports.
  • To manage management expense and ensure timely booking of entries before month end
  • To assist in posting of monthly management expense adjustment and reclassification entries
  • To liaise with all business teams to identify and book year end accruals as well as manage and reconcile monthly accrual schedule
  • To assist in monthly expense allocation
  • To assist in daily payment journals and reconciliation to bank account
  • To assist in the preparation of balance sheets accounts reconciliation
  • Preparation and reconciliation of the monthly income schedules to identify income to be included in the monthly management accounts
  • Updating and analysis of the monthly expenditure schedules to identify prepayments to be included in the monthly management accounts
  • To post monthly foreign exchange revaluation entries
  • To assist in the external audit process and ensure efficient preparation of the necessary information for the audit team
  • To assist in the drafting of up-to-date documentation on finance operations processes and ensure they are adhered to
  • To assist in relevant assignments and ensure successful completion
  • Maintain excellent working relationship as a business partner
  • Ensure all queries are answered -in a timely manner and all queries are dealt with correctly and efficiently
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; for example taking up LOMA
  • Ad-hoc duties to support the business
Requirements
  • Knowledge of insurance accounting treatment
  • Knowledge of office administration and procedures
  • Knowledge of general bookkeeping procedures
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements of insurance industry
  • 1-3 years general accounting experience in insurance general ledger
  • Obtain Level 1 - LOMA certification
