About Lazard

Lazard, one of the world's preeminent financial advisory and asset management firms, operates from 43 cities across 27 countries in North America, Europe, Asia, Australia, Central and South America. With origins dating to 1848, the firm provides advice on mergers and acquisitions, strategic matters, restructuring and capital structure, capital raising and corporate finance, as well as asset management services, to corporations, partnerships, institutions, governments and individuals.

Investment Banking Summer Analyst Program

The 9-week summer analyst program begins with a weeklong classroom training that teaches the fundamentals of banking, with a specific focus on modeling and relevant analytical techniques. Learning and development takes place throughout the summer through apprenticeship, structured learning sessions from group leaders, and formal on-going performance feedback.

Summer analysts will become integral members of the Investment Banking Group, joining small transaction teams, which provide financial advisory services to the firm's clients. Day-to-day responsibilities include financial analysis and modeling, company and industry research, participating in the development of client presentations, and interacting with senior bankers and clients. The internship is a generalist program through which summer analysts receive exposure to all M&A coverage groups as well as the Restructuring group.

In addition to our generalist program, there is an opportunity for direct placement in Restructuring. If this is of interest to you, please email FA.Campus.Recruiting@Lazard.com.
