We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a WPB Business Advisor, COO DT.

Principal Responsibilities
  • Coordinate governance activities across WPB, COO & Digital Transformation, and act as a key representative in joint business forums whilst owning the preparation of materials for key forums
  • Collaborate with WPB market Business Managers and/or Chief of Staff to ensure views of markets are accurately reflected on the global platform with respect to governance, strategic projects, and initiatives
  • Active management of financial and headcount plans, forecasts and actuals whilst working across teams to ensure the right outcome for customers are achieved
  • Coordination of customer related initiatives that improves business outcomes
  • Contribute to the curation of the COO & Digital Transformation people strategy to enhance staff engagement and internal communication
  • Manage strategic relationship with key business partners and functional heads to support the Global WPB strategy and ensure a partnership approach for quick resolution to escalated issues
  • Ensuring adequate operational control and risk management by actively overseeing the implementation of relevant policies, procedures and regulatory requirements
  • Support relevant change management and strategy implementation as required whilst being comfortable to challenge the status quo
  • Aptitude for authentically engaging a diverse group of stakeholders to deliver at pace
  • Manage strategic adhoc requests aligned to the COO & DT business strategy
Requirements
  • Experience working in Wealth & Personal Banking and/or Operations areas of financial services
  • Excellent relationship management, influencing skills and consulting skills
  • Ability to analyse complex issues and identify / assess the long-term, strategic implications for the Bank and its customers
  • Excellent planning, organizing and commercial skills including strong financial management capability
  • Advanced data and financial experience with strong attention to detail
  • Strong leader / positive role model
  • Ability to lead, motivate and develop individuals across various teams without direct responsibility for them
  • The ability to communicate complex issues concisely
  • Ability to manage and mitigate operational risk effectively
  • Well-developed project management and consulting skills
  • High degree of drive and motivation - to ensure delivery of objectives in a timely, efficient and effective manner
  • Confidence to work with senior leaders across the organization, including front, middle and back office
