About The Role

This role is for an Analyst joining the US Power & Renewable desk in New York. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the below:
  • Assist the trading desk in daily operational activities like risk management, trade bookings, and PNL reporting
  • Maintain and build analytical models used for analyzing and understanding the US power markets
  • Assist the desk in performing scenario analyses related to new power generation units and unit retirements
  • Maintain pricing curves for power basis locations in the East power markets
  • Keeping abreast of regulatory changes and analyzing their potential market impact
  • Support the sales desk in pricing and executing transactions
  • Assist with cash trading across all East physical and financial power locations

Salary Range
The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $150000-$225000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
