Our Technology Risk practice within EY Consulting helps clients to achieve sustainable growth by supporting their efforts with respect to addressing emerging technology risks, protecting their business performance, and providing trusted communications on internal controls and regulatory compliance to investors, management, regulators, customers and other stakeholders.

Your key responsibilities
  • Help clients address technology risks in day-to-day IT/business processes, as well as risks in adoption of emerging technologies and major business/technology transformations
  • Participate in both IT audits support and technology risk consulting projects.
  • Conduct Cybersecurity/Privacy assessments, project/system implementation reviews, System and Organization Controls (SOC) reporting, other internal control reviews and regulatory compliance assessments
  • Perform IT auditing procedures, such as review of IT General/Cybersecurity Controls and Application Controls, design and execute Data Analytics, in the support of audits of financial statements and internal controls over financial reporting
  • Working in a team environment, proactively identify and pursue new exciting project opportunities, as well as participating in business development activities, such as proposal writing, and client presentations


To qualify for the role you must have
  • Bachelor/Master's degree with an emphasis on Information Systems, Information Technology, Information/Cyber Security, Privacy and Data Protection, Computer Science/Engineering, Accounting, and Finance
  • Understanding of good/industry practice and framework on IT auditing and related matters (e.g. COBIT, ITIL, SOX)
  • CISA, CISSP, CCSK, PMP are preferred qualifications
  • Data analytics will be an advantage
  • Possession of good consulting skills (including soft skills, structured thinking, effective report writing and presentations)
  • Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese. Fluency in Putonghua is an advantage
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, analytical, teamwork and organizational skills
  • A team player, with positive 'can-do' attitude and enthusiasm in the performance of responsibilities

Ideally, you'll also have

Holder of CICPA, ACCA, AICPA, APA Australia is advantage
