Focus areas:
  • Client: business development plans, OneBank deal origination
  • Integrated bank offering & delivery (OneBank)
  • External Asset Managers
  • Sales Management (direct deal origination & vetting, campaign management, commercial analysis)
  • Change management (new business initiatives and product approvals where required)
Responsibilities:
  • Clients
    • Coordinate Client Review Groups (CRG);
      • Drive the nomination & prioritization process with markets & credit;
      • Drive & document the delivery of comprehensive, actionable business development profiles (CRG process);
      • Diligent follow-up and follow-through on identified action items (incl reporting);
    • Events: conceptualize differentiated client and prospect events
  • Integrated Bank coordination:
    • Engage with relationship managers on originating suitable client and deal referrals, follow-up and follow-through
    • Foster franchise connectivity between IWM and cross-divisional partners (IBD, GM, Nomura Real Estate & Asset Management)
      • Identify and educate on the banks cross-divisional capabilities; connect relationship managers (RMs) with functional stakeholders;
      • Manage internal deal and client referrals (incl approvals/clearances);
      • Prepare and effectively operate effective onebank governance;
      • Report on commercial impact (revenues, referral tracking...);
    • Manage RM collaboration credits and foster transparency for senior management;
  • External Asset Managers
    • Validate & corroborate EAM business plan assessment and onboarding profiles (with RMs and direct EAM engagement);
    • Identify business development angles for EAMs _red carpet days, promoting the franchise, referrals to GM...)
    • Conduct annual EAM reviews for commercial impact;
  • Sales Management
    • Identify & screen external deal providers & product/deal proposals (incl onboarding);
    • Review specific deal due diligence rooms for accuracy & completeness;
    • Assess client demand for deals and support RM deal education & distribution;
    • Compile commercial profiling data, perform sales management related data mining;
    • Filter sales opportunities to enable pinpoint distribution;
    • Coordinate deals and pitches with functional stakeholders;
    • Enable investment asset sales growth and drive sales impact reporting;
  • Change Management
    • Act as a reliable steward of change management topics of medium complexity
    • Lead and coordinate the documentation of new and existing processes;
    • Drive relevant approval processes (platform expansion, new capabilities)
Requirements:
  • Degree in Business Administration or Finance;
  • Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in private banking and/or an investment/global bank.
  • Sound knowledge of wealth management and/or investment banking products and services;
  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint), Expert level Excel user with Macro programming skills;
  • Proven project and/or process management skills;
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills;Verbal and written Mandarin proficiency;
  • Ability to self-manage manage (time and priorities) and deliver against ambitious project deadlines;
  • Resilient character, strong ability to remain composed and perform effectively in a dynamic environment;
  • Ability to navigate confidently and respectfully in a culturally diverse environment;
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly adapt to new situations;
