Our client, a well-established asset management company, is seeking a Junior Dealer to support Asia Equities Investment Team based in HK Office
Responsibilities
- Ensure best execution in order to provide value add to portfolio managers as required
- Allocate executed trades to various funds and accounts under management according to prescribed trade allocation policies
- Keep track on news flow / corporate actions of companies. Assess market conditions and provide updates to PMs
- Monitor broker executions, and review capabilities. Maintain relationships with sell side brokers
- Ensure trades are in compliance with regulations in various local jurisdictions
- Resolve post-trade issues in a timely manner
- Provide fund managers with insights on market sentiment, trading volume and volatility
- Assist fund managers to generate investment reports
Requirements
- University graduate with degree Business Administration/Finance/Economics or related discipline
- At least 2 years of relevant trading experience in asset management sector, preferably with sizable asset managers
- Detail-oriented and is able to work in a team-based environment
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Good knowledge on trading system, and programming skills
- Fluent in English and Chinese, Mandarin is a plus
