Responsibilities:
Requirements
- Manages a small Corporate Actions team responsible for providing all corporate action-related services to clients.
- Act as a subject matter expert on Corporate Action / Income processing including all mandatory and voluntary corporate actions of listed and OTC products (stock splits, stock dividends, spin-offs, exchanges, mergers, tenders, consents, etc.)
- Apply critical controls and end of day supervisory checks
- Perform expected responsibilities within appropriate client service level agreement (SLA)
- Demonstrate the ability to identify potential risk scenarios and implement controls to minimize operational risk
- Initiate and drive initiatives / system updates to improve Corporate Action processing capability and efficiency
- Identifies areas requiring analysis of operations and resolution for more efficient operations.
- Participate in projects such as UAT and system migration.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum 10 years of financial industry experience with full knowledge on Corporate Action / Income processing in securities brokerage industry
- Strong risk awareness and decision making skills
- Experience in managing a team handling exceptions management in the asset servicing lifecycle
- Solid analytical skills and extremely details oriented
- Hands on experience for Clearstream and Euroclear
- Knowledge of securities, fixed Incomes Listed and OTC derivatives and Structure Products settlement
- Be able to work independently and willing to work overtime
- Participate in projects and workflows re-engineering
- Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin)
