The Senior Investment Analyst utilises a wide range of Mercer tools and intellectual capital for this analysis. Key responsibilities: - Portfolio analysis – asset allocation, risk data, manager selection, dynamic asset allocation. Client reporting – monthly/ quarterly reports, factsheets, tailored reports for delegated solutions and advice clients. - Writes market updates and keeps clients and the NZ business informed of major developments. - Client and Fund operations, including client take-ons, transactions, provision of information to and from managers and custodian, annual reporting packs, sign-offs. - Management of data and documents – relating to markets, clients, funds and other financial information. - Deals with ad hoc projects and enquiries in relation to Mercer funds, sales, investment managers, third parties and other Mercer business lines. What you need to have: - Degree qualification in Commerce, Finance, Mathematics or Statistics. - CFA Professional qualification, Investment Management Certificate or other finance related post-graduate qualification desirable. - Awareness and understanding of financial markets - Superior analytical skills and proficiency in range of IT tools and use of intellectual capital. - Capacity to prioritise and manage multiple tasks in a demanding work environment with tight deadlines. - Excellent accuracy, interpersonal and written communication skills. - Demonstrated initiative by using technical knowledge to improve processes and by sharing ideas with colleagues.
