Drive digitalisation at Macquarie Asset Management

Join our Macquarie Asset Management business during a period of exciting change. You will work in a cross-functional Product Team to support Macquarie Asset Management's key business initiatives. You will lead on all aspects of data management within the team to help the Product Owner drive digitalisation through well-managed, automated, and governed data. As a Vice President in the Data Enablement Office you will have also responsibilities overseeing the regional book of work and managing the regional data team.

In the first 12 months you will support our Real Assets businesses on a strategic uplift to their data and technology. You will play a significant role in designing and executing the digital experience. You will need to collaborate with business leaders, subject matter experts, Technology, Operations and support functions to drive alignment to our data principles and make it easier to deliver.

Your daily tasks will include running workshops, analysing existing and future business process, developing conceptual data models, managing data quality, documenting user journeys, Agile story writing, and coordinating business testing. You will have existing knowledge of financial markets or asset management, and deep experience in data management or business analysis with a focus on data.

Primary activities
  • Lead the regional establishment of industrialised data management to support teams to provide clean, trusted and accessible data
  • Identify and unlock datasets across Macquarie Asset Management for wider distribution
  • Real Assets: collaborate with data owners, producers, consumers, operations and business leaders to drive alignment to our data principles and bring data under governance (models, controls, quality, lineage, etc). Particularly in eFront.

Experience
  • Leader in the area of enterprise data management, data governance, and data strategy
  • Exposure to product ownership and Agile methodologies
  • Financial markets - especially knowledge of asset management data flows and associated data domains (e.g. portfolios, funds, trades, securities, performance)
  • Nice to have - eFront experience
