In Banking and Financial Services, we aim to deliver outstanding employee experience (EX) to our people, so they can deliver exceptional experiences to our clients. Within our People & Culture team, our EX Programs team develops and delivers BFS-wide initiatives that shape our peoples' EX, focusing on improving experiences at every employee lifecycle point as well as building the capability of our managers to deliver these.

We're seeking someone to join our team to focus on a range of experience points across the employee lifecycle as our business changes to meet our growth plans.

Reporting to the Head of EX Programs you'll work collaboratively with business leaders and the P&C team to design, improve, implement and measure initiatives to deliver #1EX.

You'll be a collaborative leader, with strong relationship and execution skills, with a drive to make BFS an even better place for our people to work.

Key responsibilities
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and engage a wide range of people across our business areas to agree capability needs, develop solutions, share progress and measure effectiveness
  • Use insights to identify and prioritise needs based on a variety of data sources including input from talent forums, Voice of Employee program themes, performance data, business strategy and leaders' feedback
  • Bring external insights and ideas to continue to evolve the experience of our people
  • Use an agile and human centred design (HCD) approach to integrate feedback and iterate across all aspects of employee experience, balancing unique requirements with the need for consistent experiences to deliver #1EX.
  • Build strategic measurement approach to evaluate long term outcomes of EX initiatives, including effectiveness of learning, cost benefit analysis
  • Provide data and insights to performance and talent forum discussions.
  • Provide leaders and people managers with ongoing coaching and support to enable them to bring EX initiatives and approaches to reality
Required skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders across our business
  • Strategic thinking with commercial acumen
  • Strong planning, organisational development and problem-solving skills
  • Strong analytical abilities to accurately assess employees' needs, evaluate feedback, and translate those into actionable recommendations to improve our work environment
  • Experience in designing and implementing employee experience initiatives
  • Intellectually curious, using data and analytics to bring insights to the business
  • Pragmatic style, adapting best practice models and methodologies to fit business needs
  • Advanced written and verbal communication, including presentation skills and the ability to write succinctly
