Department Overview:
Global Middle Office (GMO) works closely with the Wholesale division supporting the business
and their trading activities. They also work closely with Risk, Operations, IT, Legal and
Compliance as well as other functions within the Finance division. The Credit business coverage
includes Primary Syndication, Flow Trading, Repo Trading and Structured Credit business. The
Credit GMO works closely with the Trading desk to provide support through pre and post trade
execution and product life cycle to ensure accurate risk capture in the firm's books and records.
Additionally, the team is an integral control function and is responsible to ensure compliance with
bookings rules and regulations.

Role:
We are looking for an enthusiastic self-driven candidate to join the Credit MO team supporting the
Credit business within AEJ Global Markets division. The candidate is responsible to act as the
face-off between the Trading desk and other departments. The role's core requirement is to
support the day to day as well as drive strategic change, identify and remediate control risks, and
ensure compliance with audit and regulatory standards. The candidate should have a sound
knowledge of credit products (notably Bonds and CDS) and financing instruments such as Repos.
Candidate should be well versed with Credit lifecycle and regulations such as mandatory clearing,
MIFID etc. The candidate needs to be a confident in Communication and have a strong control
mind-set to succeed in this role.

The candidate will provide oversight on offshore team and will also be responsible to participate in
strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities:
• Candidate must be willing to partner with trading desks on operational and settlement
related matters while maintaining the second line of defense as a core control function.
• Demonstrate an understanding of front to back trade flows as well as Risk and P&L.
• Production of daily end-of-day flash P&L and associated market data integrity verification.
• Investigation and resolution of position and trade exceptions through daily reconciliations.
• Execution and management of lifecycle events for credit products.
• Working closely with IT to implement middle office initiatives and system roll-outs. This
includes assisting management with requirement gathering, analysis and user acceptance
testing.
• Build a strong network across multiple departments within the firm such as Trading, Risk,
Technology and other areas of Operations with the goal to help streamline front to back
processes.
• Actively contribute in new business or process change initiatives through collaboration with
other departments.
• Ensuring best practices are followed while mitigating operational, reputational and f inancial
risk to the firm.
• Drive automation and digitalization initiatives to improve productivity and enhance controls

Requirements:
• 5+ years of trade support experience and knowledge of Bonds, Structured Products and/or
CDS
• A self-motivated person with a strong attention to detail and Control mind-set.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while demonstrating a strong
sense of ownership and commitment to delivery
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
• Possesses strong analytical and problem solving skills, and ability to adapt to dynamic
situations
• General knowledge of other Global Market products
• Understanding/Hands on knowledge of Digital tools such as Alteryx, Power BI, VBA etc is
added advantage.
