They are looking for a commercial Investment Professional with legal exposure to join their London based team. The firm focuses on making credit and private equity investments alongside its family office investment partners in consumer businesses. What the job involves
- You will be involved in all aspects of the investment process including deal screening, legal negotiations, financial modelling, due diligence and working with the portfolio
- Support in both the planning and execution of key development projects, including joint ventures, equity transactions, acquisitions and exits
- Supporting and executing M&A processes, including review of opportunities, valuation, financial due diligence
- Support on aspects of the portfolio businesses transformation and execution of smaller M&A processes as well as integrating business plans
- Prepare relevant valuation methodologies and analysis of investment returns, capital requirements and cash flows
- Candidates must have a legal qualification, experience of working in a legal profession and in one of the following: investment banking, private equity, strategy consulting, corporate finance
- A strong interest in consumer businesses is preferred
- Well-developed financial modelling skills with a strong intellectual curiosity and a genuine passion for investment
- A demonstrable ability to prioritise, multi-task and work to tight deadlines
