This is an exciting opportunity for an Internal Audit Senior Analyst to join the Macquarie Internal Audit team and gain exposure to Macquarie's businesses. This Sydney based role will primarily support audits in the Banking and Financial Services business which includes Wealth Management, Business Banking and Personal Banking.

As an Internal Audit Senior Analyst, you will play a key role in the full lifecycle of audits. You will contribute to assessing the quality and effectiveness of Macquarie's internal control framework, risk management and governance systems. You will partner with the wider Internal Audit team, Business Operational Risk teams and the broader Risk Management Group to contribute to the continual improvement of the overarching risk management framework.

You will help define the audit universe, engage in continuous business monitoring activities and help perform risk assessments to identify emerging risk themes and trends. You will participate in a range of audits and proactively monitor key strategic initiatives and regulatory requirements impacting this area. Strong stakeholder engagement skills are critical as you will establish an ongoing partnership with the business and technology audit teams and senior management to provide valuable insights and drive positive change in this area.

Key to your success will be a minimum prior experience of 3 years, in a comparable audit or risk management role. Relevant financial services experience, excellent communication skills, data driven auditing experience and the ability to liaise with and influence stakeholders at all levels are preferred.

Whilst the role is based in Sydney, you would be joining an internal audit team that is represented in Melbourne, New York, Houston, London, Singapore, Jakarta, Gurugram and Hong Kong. Travel may be required as our business units are also represented across the globe. If you possess relevant experience with strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high quality outcomes, apply today.
