We are currently working with a successful hedge fund founded over a decade ago, developing systematic macro strategies across liquid futures and FX markets. The team are looking to hire an investor relations analyst who will have exposure to the investment process and portfolio whilst interfacing with clients.

The idea candidate will have around 1-4 years' experience in alternative investment research within a systematic macro fund. The role is broad with various responsibilities on offer with the opportunity to develop and progress to be able to leverage research for PMs.
The role will involve:
  • Data analysis and reporting
  • Creating monthly production presentations
  • Working closely with the business development team and investment team
  • Carrying out financial analysis on returns/risk and company data
  • Maintaining databases, tracking spreadsheets and performing market analysis
Role requirements:
  • Experience with alternative investment/hedge fund strategies
  • Competent with data analysis/statistics/finance
  • Exposure to a client facing environment
  • Technology skills (Python, SQL and Tableau)
  • Previous systematic experience desirable
  • A minimum bachelor's degree in a quant related discipline (e.g., Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science)
