Our client is an established and blue-chip PE/investment firm. It is based in town. It invests in private equity funds, with a focus on the development and innovation of new investment platforms and products to make private equity ("PE") accessible to a broader group of investors.

Job Title
Finance & Operations Associate/Senior Associate - Corporate
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the activities for the management company and a group of holding entities, including, but not limited to, accounting, audit, tax (local and GST), statutory and budgeting
- Assist in the preparation of management reports and analysis for senior management's review
- Handle accounts payable function including vendor records maintenance, tracking of invoices and payment
- Assist in the accounts receivable function including issuance of invoices and tracking of receipt
- Assist in fixed assets function including tracking of asset cost in accounting system and reconciliation of balances to general ledger
- Work closely and coordinate with all business units and external parties to support the regular reporting deliverables and deadlines
- Assist in preparation of periodic deliverables for compliance and ad hoc reporting to authorities
The candidate may also be involved in:
- Participate and provide inputs in new workflow and system implementation where required
- Participate in other work processes and ad-hoc tasks where required
- Initiate efficiency improvements to control enhancements
Requirements
- Degree in Accountancy/Finance/ACCA/CA Equivalent with 2 to 6 years of relevant accounting experience gained in the asset management/PE/ investment management industry
- Organized with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Meticulous and able to work independently with tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Keen learner with positive attitude, motivated, flexibility to work in a small office environment
- Aptitude in standard computer software (including PowerPoint, Excel and Words)
- Oracle experience a nice-to-have but not a must
