One of the leading systematic trading firms is looking for a Quant Dev to work alongside systematic Portfolio Managers in their main research tech team to develop solutions, shortening time-to-market and/or upgrade the existing platform.

This role will expose you to elements across the business, and you'll be expected to solve all technical challenges associated with it, on this modular platform.

Your involvement and closeness to the PMs will mean you have a direct impact on the business and the PM's success.

Responsibilities:

Working on numerous tasks presented by a modular system in this systematic investment firm, including:
  • Data pipelines
  • Intraday signal research tools
  • Mid and high frequency trading and backtesting
  • Real-time market data
  • Technical and financial monitoring systems
  • GUIs
  • Data storage, time series database, event correlation


Requirements:
  • Computer Science or STEM degree from a Top University
  • C++ fluency
  • Python fluency
  • Linux admin skills
  • 2+ years of experience in a technically demanding industry e.g. HFT, computer hardware, or gaming
  • Familiarity with computer architecture, databases, real time systems, and distributed computing


This role is available to candidates in New York, Singapore, and Hong Kong.
