Team Overview
The Alternatives Investor Servicing team is responsible for servicing a $50B+ and growing alternatives fund platform. We assist in the launch of new hedge funds, private equity funds, and private placements, including some of the most sophisticated products in the industry. Our team has daily interactions with investors, collaborates with internal stakeholders, and assists with oversight of alternative fund administrators.

Responsibilities
‒ Collaborate with sales, client-facing, tax, product strategy group, and fund administration teams globally on all aspects of client onboarding, providing extraordinary client service
‒ Serve as a primary contact for U.S. domiciled broker-dealers, assisting with inquiries from a home office and/or financial advisors and ad hoc/quarterly reporting to their operations centers
‒ Be an integral member of the e-mail inquiry queue handling daily investor and internal information requests
‒ Deliver accurate and timely work products in coordination with team members
‒ Assist with review of all outgoing investor correspondence
‒ Provide details on cash flow reporting to support portfolio management teams
‒ Support company goals and business/departmental initiatives with a focus on technology improvements
‒ Coordinate and maintain fund document repositories (Private Placement Memorandums, Limited Partnership Agreements, subscription agreements, etc.)
‒ Build strong and mutually beneficial relationships with internal and external stakeholders and suppliers
‒ Continually develop our functional skills, thriving to learn new techniques and apply them to our roles
‒ Identify opportunities to bring efficiencies into existing processes via ongoing process improvement and implementation of new technology solutions
‒ Encourage a positive work environment and culture for all employees

Qualifications
‒ Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree
‒ 4-7 years of experience in either private equity or hedge fund administration at a notable fund administrator or asset manager required
‒ In-depth knowledge of private equity or hedge fund mechanics, including how the funds function in their respective lifecycles
‒ Experience handling high-volume operations inquiries, solving investor operational issues, managing investor onboarding, and addressing related questions
‒ Series 7 and 63 licenses required or ability to acquire within six (6) months of the start date
‒ Experience with private funds focused on real estate and global macro and special situations is highly desirable.
‒ Risk and control minded to aid in the ongoing oversight of third-party fund administrators

PIMCO follows a total compensation approach when rewarding employees which includes a base salary and a discretionary bonus. Base salary is the fixed component of compensation that is determined by core job responsibilities, relevant experience, internal level, and market factors. The discretionary bonus is used to award performance and therefore is determined by company, business, team, and individual performance.

Salary Range: $ 122,000.00 - $ 168,000.00
