Finance Manager, Agribusiness Private Equity Fund, London, UK

About our client
We are partnering with a leading Agribusiness Private Equity Fund which is looking to hire a Finance Manager. Headquartered in London the team has decades of investing, development and operating expertise across the globe with an unparalleled track record. This position will work across the business with a particular focus on valuation models, investment system maintenance, regular liaison with internal and external stakeholders as well as assistance with the deal process as a whole. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a specialist fund within a lean team and work across the business.
What the job involves

• Maintaining portfolio valuations models and undertaking both regular and ad-hoc valuations
• Manage information and back-office record-keeping systems supporting investment, fundraising, client support and general administration activities
• Assist with investment execution, closing process and fund tax structuring
• Liaison with our fund administrator: cash calls, distribution notices, quarterly and annual reports and investment execution
• Manage a suite of FCA policies and procedures, including maintain timely records and preparing regular and ad-hoc compliance reports
• Support Business Controller in management of fund holding structure and monitoring of portfolio companies

Who we are looking for

• Recent graduate from a reputable university with a finance or quantitative degree with professional experience, preferably with some accounting and/or modelling experience
• High IQ and strong academic track record with excellent analytical ability
• Highly proficient in Excel, with strong modelling and analytical skills
• Work closely with partners and other team members of the company in an entrepreneurial environment within a private equity firm
• Meticulous attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
