We are seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner to lead the finance function and be the right-hand man to the Group President. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the commodities industry, strong analytical skills, and a proven track record of delivering results in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. In this role, you will be responsible for prioritizing project investment proposals and ensuring their alignment with the Group's overall strategy and risk-return benchmarks.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement financial strategies and plans for the business unit to ensure there are in line with the company's overall objectives. Provide strategic financial guidance to the President and Corporate senior management team
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting for the business, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and lead the financial planning and analysis process for the business, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Evaluate investment proposals and conduct financial analyses to support investment decisions. Prioritize project investment proposals for the business and ensure their alignment with the Group's overall strategy and risk-return benchmarks
- Monitor and analyze the financial performance of the business, identifying areas of improvement and driving efficiency initiatives. Working closely with other business units to ensure that robust systems, structures and processes are in place
- Drive regular discussion with corporate accounting, global tax and legal functions on M&A target
- Manage and develop a high-performing finance team (site/ plant controllers) for the business, including coaching, mentoring, and performance management
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. MBA preferred
- Minimum 15 years' regional strategic financial management experience; Experience in commodities or chemical; agribusinesses will be an advantage
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with senior management and other key stakeholders
- Flexibility to undertake short-term assignments at operating units, leading projects to enhance business performance
- Driven, sharp, results-oriented with strong ability to link financial numbers to key business drivers;
