About our client

Our client is a leading Mid-Market fund who is looking to hire an Associate into their direct lending team. The team provide senior and subordinated loans for acquisitions, capital growth and restructurings, LBO's and liquidity situations.
What the job involves

The Associate can expect to work across a range of responsibilities including:

• Conduct fundamental credit analysis, due diligence and approval of new investments
• Produce financial models for new investment opportunities
• Prepare presentations and pitches for both external and internal use
• Prepare materials to assist in presenting to the IC
• Assist in the negotiation and preparation of legal documentation
• Monitor the portfolio assets and produce quarterly reports for both internal and external use

Who we are looking for

• Investment Banking experience (Leveraged Finance, Debt Advisory, Restructuring, M&A)
• Excellent written and verbal communication with keen attention to detail
• Strong financial modelling skills
• Positive, team orientated attitude with an eagerness to learn and take on new challenges
• Effective organisation skills
