Treasury Financial Control & Advisory Manager

Responsibilities

To provide MIS and accounting support to treasury related activities.
To perform an independent control and reporting function that provides the Management with acceptable assurance over the integrity of the financial positions of the Bank's treasury activities.
To perform comprehensive controls and reconciliations to monitor any abnormal treasury activities.
To partner with other stakeholders to support treasury related projects, implementation of systems and upgrades, and new business approvals.
To prepare daily treasury PnL with decomposition and commentaries after proper adjustments.
To perform daily product control tasks including Front-to-Back PnL & Position reconciliations, Off-Market Rate checking, FX Global Code monitoring, Large and Unusual Transactions monitoring and etc.
To make necessary monthly financial entries for Hedge Accounting and Valuation Reserve.
To collaborate with other stakeholders to support the development and enhancement of new treasury products / systems.
To assist other ad-hoc treasury product related duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance, Risk Management, Mathematics, Statistics or related discipline
Possess qualifications at Core level of ECF-TM would be an advantage
Professional qualification in HKICPA, ACCA, FRM, CFA is an advantage
Minimum 5 years of working experience in banking / accounting / treasury operations
Good command of spoken and written English and Mandarin
Proficient in MS Office and knowledge of Murex and Oracle GL is preferred
