You bring the ambition and talent; we'll open exciting new doors for you. Take the next step in your banking career with the Corporate Insights Advisory Summer Analyst Program in New York. In this challenging, rewarding 9-week summer program, you develop your skills so you can influence tomorrow. Beginning with a one-day company orientation, you'll spend one week in training and eight weeks as an integral part of the team. This position is part of our Investment Bank (IB) division, an industry leader in driving the firm's global success.

Over the course of this program, you continue to learn and develop through ongoing training, and hear from experienced senior employees from a variety of divisions in our summer speaker series. Mentorship opportunities help you identify your strengths and plan your career, while social activities, community service and networking events connect you with a range of people from across the firm. When you complete the program, you will have gained crucial experience in all areas of the IB division, and a firm understanding of how a global investment bank functions. Once you've seen the big picture, it's time to paint your own.

Start date: June 3, 2024

Duration: 9 weeks

Academic requirements: You should be graduating from a university in December 2024 or May/June 2025.

Your field of responsibility

As a Summer Analyst, you will work with a wall street-leading team who advise and deliver strategic solutions to corporate clients in partnership with our Investment Banking and Capital Markets teams. You will gain hands-on experience in tracking analytics on market trends, developing financial models and preparing client presentations detailing your findings. In addition, you will gain exposure to senior decision-makers both within the bank and with the bank's corporate clients around the world.

Your future colleagues

The Corporate Insights Group (CIG) helps clients make better decisions to enhance value-creation, by providing market-driven strategic insights via differentiated analytical frameworks. The team partners closely with product and coverage teams within the Investment Bank to advise the senior executives of corporate clients regarding the key drivers of their companies' market value. With that perspective, CIG advises on what actions our clients may take to deliver superior returns to shareholders in the following areas:
  • Management plan evaluation
  • Capital allocation strategy
  • Portfolio optimization
  • M&A (buy-side and sell-side)
  • Equity market valuation
  • Defense advisory (activists)
  • Equity offerings / IPOs
  • Investor KPI & target setting
  • Efficient capital structure
  • Financial distribution policies (incl. buybacks and dividends)

The salary, if this role is being hired in New York City, is $110,000 annually, based on various factors such as experience, education, skills, internal and external market data, etc.
