This is a great opportunity to join a growing highly motivated team of Business Development Managers in London, who are also part of a national team. This is an exciting time at Quilter Cheviot with strengthening AIM proposition, a Climate Assets Fund with over 12 years history, a fresh and different MPS proposition plus working together with our impressive Investment Managers on our discretionary services.

The candidate will ideally located in the London area with a good knowledge of financial advice and financial advisers, holding at least a level 4 industry qualification, whilst having an entrepreneurial spirit in order to be able to open new doors in this developing region.

This is an exciting challenge for an experienced BDM.

London Sales Director

About the Role

Reporting to the London Sales Director you will be working with the Investment Management teams to introduce new investment clients to the company through Financial Advisers.

To promote Quilter Cheviots discretionary investment proposition, Climate Assets Funds, MPS solution and AIM portfolio plus other relevant services to financial advisers.

To agree with the Head of Distribution an appropriate annual target for the introduction of new investment management business

To achieve the agreed new business target and any other relevant targets (KPIs)

To support the London region with regards driving new business opportunities

To discuss and agree with the London Sales Director and Head of Distribution, key target introducers and agree appropriate recipient investment managers for new discretionary investment management business

To agree with London Sales Director the methods and direction of sales initiatives
Report regularly to the London Sales Director and Head of Distribution in standard format

To develop and actively work with a business plan template (with the assistance of the London Sales Director) to segment advisers in the region to allow for focussed activity

To building and maintain Financial Advisers relationships, predominately focusing on the development of new advisers and new accounts not previously supporting Quilter Cheviot

To build and maintain appropriate working relationships with Financial Advisers as well as Quilter Cheviot Investment Managers

To attend business development meetings as appropriate

Communicate regularly with local Investment Directors, Investment Managers, London Sales Direct and Head of Distribution

To gain a thorough understanding of the company's products and services and the circumstances in which they may be appropriate for existing and potential clients.

To keep clear and concise records of contacts and visits and to ensure the corporate CRM system is accurate at all times.

Minimum of an industry Level 4 qualification is essential

Relevant experience of financial services in the local markets

Clean driving licence for regular travel to other office locations
