Your key responsibilities:
  • Primary responsibility for computing scenario thresholds based on operating model processes and controls
  • Engage data stakeholders to ensure that comprehensive data reconciliation controls are in place for data used by T&O processes
  • Design dashboards using visualization tools (for e.g. Tableau) to present threshold computations
  • Be familiar with concepts around static and dynamic segmentation attributes
  • Investigate apparent breaches of compliance standards or controls and make recommendations as appropriate and track corrective measures
  • Monitor post implementation operations pertaining to thresholds and provide feedback to internal partners and stakeholders as part of continual improvement
  • Troubleshoot issues and lead problem solving, in particular for Regional AFC segmentation and scenario threshold matters

Your skills and experience:
  • In-depth knowledge and working experience of applying advanced statistical computational techniques on large data sets.
  • Working knowledge and experience in threshold computation in an AFC Transaction Monitoring ecosystem
  • 6+ years of experience in an AML/CTF role with strong focus on data science in a banking / FI ecosystem
  • Working experience on large enterprise class data analytics and MI projects for an AFC ecosystem
  • Experience working with Regional and Global regulatory environments, with practical knowledge of threshold computation techniques
  • Experience in threshold testing concepts pertaining to ATL and BTL testing
  • Technical experience in big data platforms and cloud based ecosystems; advanced working knowledge of SQL in Oracle and Hadoop environments. Working knowledge in data science, big data tools and infrastructural components such as PySpark / Jupyter. Advanced development experience in Python based applications
  • Demonstrated experience in analytics platforms (SAS, R etc.) for data mining and statistical analysis
  • Experience in Microsoft Office products, specifically MS Excel, MS Access. Working knowledge of data manipulation functionality in MS Excel and pivot tables
  • Experience in data visualisation tools such as Tableau /Power BI.

Role is required to be performed on-site at One Raffles Quay office. Relevant vaccination requirement applies.
