Credit Analyst (Associate), London

Our client, a global insurance and financial services firm, is looking for a credit analyst to join the asset management arm of the business. The role will support the Wealth and Individual businesses' management of general account portfolios and the development of fund solutions for the firm's European and North American clients.

Responsibilities:

• Research and evaluate the suitability of potential credit investments
• Support the development of proprietary credit ratings
• Accountable for the monitoring and updating of credit risk analyses for existing investments
• Be an active collaborator across teams by responding to credit-related inquiries and providing insights on credit opportunities to the appropriate stakeholders

Requirements:

• Demonstrable experience in fixed-income and credit research
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
• Excellent time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple pipelines
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to provide actionable insights from gathered data
• At least an undergraduate degree in a quantitative subject
• Achieved or studying towards the CFA or other equivalent professional qualifications is a plus
