The Role Responsibilities
JOB SUMMARY
Support for all Prime Services product areas: FX Intermediation, Rates Intermediation, OTC Clearing and Fixed Income Prime Brokerage
Responsibilities
Processes
  • Intraday trade monitoring, management of exceptions
  • Process post trade events (Exercises, Expiries)
  • Manual trade booking where required
  • Address ad hoc queries from internal Operations teams
  • Identify and escalate technology issues to PSS and Development teams
  • Management of off-market transactions with Clients and Executing Brokers
  • Coordination with Prime Services teams abroad to ensure 24/5 follow-the-sun coverage model
  • Ensure matching of all Client and Executing Broker giveups
  • Validation of any daily P&L in Prime portfolios
  • Coordinate with clients to support ah-hoc/bespoke requests
  • Provide dedicated client coverage for high value customers
  • Process client requests for trade novations, compressions and unwinds
  • Test platform enhancements
People & Talent
  • Lead through example and build the appropriate culture and values setting appropriate tone and expectations for Regional teams
  • Ensure ongoing training and development and growth plans are maintained
  • Contribute to regional people agenda and activities including volunteering and team events
Risk Management
  • Provide VaR explain to Risk for any breaches
  • Monthly CST/KCI validation for Ops Risk
  • Highlight any IRS transactions which fail to Clear in line with MIFID requirements
  • Check to ensure transactions are booked with regulatory compliant benchmarks

  • Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group's Values and Code of Conduct .

Our Ideal Candidate
  • Proven track record in client services in the area of OTC financial products, collateral and valuations, capacity planning and process management.
  • Expert in FX Prime Brokerage
  • Rates Intermediation, Rates Clearing and Fixed Income Prime Brokerage experience.
  • Analytical mind with strong business planning acumen and capacity management
  • Familiar with hedge fund/real money fund/investment bank operations

Expected annual base pay range for the role is $53,339 - $86,676. The final offer will be determined on an individualised basis using a number of variables, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience and education, internal relativity, and specific work location. At Standard Chartered Bank, Base pay is only part of the total compensation package. Discretionary variable pay and a range of attractive bank sponsored benefit programs are available and designed to foster employee overall health and well-being including, but not limited to, a best in class 401k plan with up to 8% employer match, robust medical plan coverage with employer funded Health Savings Accounts, inclusive family building benefits, and flexible/hybrid working arrangements for many of our positions subject to role specific considerations.
